I am an applied regional economist specializing in the analysis of the effects of economic shocks on regional economic development. My research includes empirical analysis of the determinants of regional economic growth during the Great Recession, and economic policy analysis for local and state policymakers. My research has been motivated and informed by nearly a decade of work as an economic development professional in Wilmington, Ohio.
